The other day my mum found a very cute and very creative way to keep my daughter busy…build a fairy garden!  How cute!

We gathered a try full of random, fun, sparkly, glittery, flowery supplies from the craft cupboard and I let her go to work.  Don’t tell anyone because he would be really embarrassed, but my 9 year old son couldn’t help lending a hand at times.

To get started you’ll need a large tub or pot filled with potting soil (we already had some flower planted) plant some flowers or little shrubs.

Gather your “decorating” supplies.  We used glitter, glass stones, ribbon, pom poms, little jewels, silk flowers, more glitter.  Really anything and everything can work.

Let your little one be creative!  The fun thing is that in a few days they can go and “rearrange” their little garden.  The creativity never stops.
