I have related to so many of the same feelings you describe but like you I find that God is truly riding with me through out everything while my situation is very different in many ways it the same in many as well I have two children one is disabled and this adds many challenging dimensions to things. When I see or hear of a Man doing something kind and supportive and in generally kind and considerate I say I hope you really appreciate what he does and let him know. I didn't have that at all in the relationship that ended for me. I needed it dreadfully. I resented the load I was carrying because it was too heavy and I was very overwhelmed However I realize now that I don't have to carry this alone God can and will help. Trust him in your darkest moments and he will never let you down.

I have no children but I have just been curious about some of my peers decisions on this issue. My thought that I haven't gotten a chance to ask is, didn't baby Jesus sleep in a MANGER? That seems to imply that he didn't sleep with Mary. And isn't that why babies are swaddled? Everyone mentions the "olden days" but Jesus didn't do it....
Love how much though it seems you put into this topic. Thanks!

Love this post! Very helpful. I've been trying to do a better job keeping up with my house. I only have two children, a 1 yo and a 3 yo, and I find it difficult to find time to do much more than the very basic--dishes, laundry and the toilet! I've been trying to enlist my 3 yo to help and she's doing great, so hopefully it gets easier. :)

Kristi--
I feel SO MUCH the same way here. I really struggle with balance in my life. I've been married going on 15 years and we have three kids 14-10 and 6 years old. I'm trying to make time with God first every morning in prayer and reading the Bible or an inspirational book. If my house is a mess, its so hard to find peace!
I think that too many wives/mothers have to work long hours nowdays and you simply cannot get everything done! Something will be neglected! I've chosen to only work part time since my kids were born and yes sometimes its a struggle and yes we do go without new cars, and other luxuries. However, the closer to God I become the more he is leading my heart to my marriage, kids and home. I'm starting to understand the importance all these roles play in ALL aspects of my life and my family's life too.
Its difficult, so we have to ask God for help and rely on him for our help.

Thanks for the awesome post!

Kristi,

Thanks for being courageous and sharing what you've experienced with others. I've personally dealt with the effects of pornography in my life, and healing has come, but the scars are still there. God let me lean on him, and because of his strength I survived my marriage falling apart. Trusting him, int turn has brought new joy in to my life and the love of a faithful man.
